Zero-AI Pledge
As an individual/on behalf of a group, I pledge not to use generative AI in the creation of any public-facing creative work I produce. This includes but is not limited to:
- Books/essays/articles
- Artworks/visual art
- Scripts/plays/stage productions
- Websites/blog posts
- Video games
- Concept art/storyboarding
- Music
- Performance art
For the purposes of this pledge, “generative AI” refers to tools that generate novel creative content (text, image, audio, video, or code) from a prompt. This pledge does not cover AI-assisted proofreading, translation, or accessibility tools used on human-authored work.
If signing as an individual, your name will be visible on the signatories list on our website. If signing on behalf of a group, only the group name will be visible.

Honest-AI Pledge
As an individual/on behalf of a group, I pledge to publicly declare any and all use of generative AI in the creation of any public-facing creative work I produce. This includes but is not limited to:

- Video games
- Concept art/storyboarding
- Any other creative work
For the purposes of this pledge, “generative AI” refers to tools that generate novel creative content (text, image, audio, video, or code) from a prompt. This pledge does not require disclosure of AI-assisted proofreading, translation, or accessibility tools used on human-authored work.
Where generative AI is used, I commit to disclosing it clearly and specifically. This means noting which tool was used and for what part of the work (e.g. drafting, image generation, editing) in the work’s credits, description, or accompanying materials.
A good statement names the tools, the stages of work involved (ideas, drafts, editing, final output), and a rough proportion.
